Complimentary Billing Services

To make your visit as smooth and hassle-free as possible, we offer complimentary billing services for those carriers that fall outside our network contracts. This means we handle the submission of your billing information electronically to your insurance carrier on your behalf.

Explanation of Benefits (EOB)

After your visit, either you or Medi-Station Urgent Care will receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) form from your insurance carrier. This form details what portion of your medical services was paid by the insurance, what was denied, and what is due from you. According to most insurance carriers, the wait time for an EOB is approximately thirty days.

Follow-Up Process

If your insurance carrier does not respond within the thirty-day period, our team will take proactive steps to follow up. We will contact the insurance carrier to confirm that your claim has been received and is being processed.

However, if our office does not receive a response from your insurance carrier after multiple follow-up attempts, you will be billed directly for the services provided.
